Effectively, a remote anonymous user can download any file on servers running Butor Portal. WhiteLabelingServlet is responsible for this vulnerability. It does not properly sanitize user input on the theme t parameter before reusing it in a path. This path is then used without validation to fetch a file and return its raw content to the user via the /wl?t=../../...&h= substring followed by a filename.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:N","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-22"],"references":["https://bitbucket.org/account/user/butor-team/projects/PROJ","https://bitbucket.org/butor-team/portal/commits/all","https://bitbucket.org/butor-team/portal/commits/cd7055d33e194fcf530100ee1d8d13aa9cde230b","https://bitbucket.org/butor-team/portal/src/cd7055d33e194fcf530100ee1d8d13aa9cde230b/src/main/java/com/butor/portal/web/servlet/WhiteLabelingServlet.java?at=master","https://www.gosecure.net/blog/2019/09/30/butor-portal-arbitrary-file-download-vulnerability-cve-2019-13343"],"products":["butor:portal"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T20:59:10.855360465+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2019-13343","score":0.02248,"percentile":0.82892,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
