A remote attacker who compromises a SSH server may be able to disclose sensitive information or cause a denial of service condition on the client system when a user connects to the server. This is related to an _libssh2_check_length mistake, and is different from the various issues fixed in 1.8.1, such as CVE-2019-3855.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:H","score":8.1},"cwes":["CWE-125","CWE-190"],"references":["http://packetstormsecurity.com/files/172834/libssh2-1.8.2-Out-Of-Bounds-Read.html","https://blog.semmle.com/libssh2-integer-overflow/","https://github.com/libssh2/libssh2/compare/02ecf17...42d37aa","https://github.com/libssh2/libssh2/pull/350","https://libssh2.org/changes.html"],"products":["debian:debian_linux","f5:traffix_systems_signaling_delivery_controller","fedoraproject:fedora","libssh2:libssh2","netapp:cloud_backup","netapp:e-series_santricity_os_controller","netapp:ontap_select_deploy_administration_utility"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T20:58:11.797917892+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2019-13115","score":0.11659,"percentile":0.96054,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
