This vulnerability enables regular users to write arbitrary files on the underlying system with privileges of the user running the application. Especially, an attacker may leverage the vulnerability to write an executable JSP file in an exposed web directory to execute commands on the underlying system.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.0","vector":"CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":9.9},"cwes":["CWE-22"],"references":["https://github.com/Silverpeas/Silverpeas-Core/blob/d8c3bbb0695a4907db013401bd16c6527e2b4f41/core-web/src/main/java/org/silverpeas/core/webapi/upload/FileUploadData.java#L89","https://www.bishopfox.com/news/2019/01/silverpeas-5-15-to-6-0-2-path-traversal/","https://github.com/Silverpeas/Silverpeas-Core/blob/d8c3bbb0695a4907db013401bd16c6527e2b4f41/core-web/src/main/java/org/silverpeas/core/webapi/upload/FileUploadData.java#L89","https://www.bishopfox.com/news/2019/01/silverpeas-5-15-to-6-0-2-path-traversal/"],"products":["silverpeas:silverpeas"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T20:55:22.313337056+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2018-19586","score":0.05042,"percentile":0.92292,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
