While the API key is stored encrypted on disk, it was transmitted in plain text as part of the configuration form. This could result in exposure of the API key for example through browser extensions or cross-site scripting vulnerabilities. The Datadog Plugin now encrypts the API key transmitted to administrators viewing the global configuration form.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.0","vector":"CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N","score":3.1},"cwes":["CWE-200"],"references":["http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/100223","https://jenkins.io/security/advisory/2017-08-07/","http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/100223","https://jenkins.io/security/advisory/2017-08-07/"],"products":["jenkins:datadog"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T20:46:01.145313090+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2017-1000114","score":0.01038,"percentile":0.63968,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-hf7w-f4h4-9xp8","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-hf7w-f4h4-9xp8","summary":"Exposure of Sensitive Information in Jenkins Datadog plugin","modified":"2024-02-16T08:12:38.250918Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Maven","name":"org.datadog.jenkins.plugins:datadog","purl":"pkg:maven/org.datadog.jenkins.plugins/datadog","ranges":["<0.6.2"],"fixed":["0.6.2"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
