NOTE: despite initial reports, the Mozilla vendor does not believe that this issue can be used to trigger a crash or buffer overflow in Firefox. Also, it has been independently reported that Netscape 8.1 does not have this issue.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":[],"references":["ftp://ftp.sco.com/pub/updates/UnixWare/SCOSA-2006.26/SCOSA-2006.26.txt","ftp://patches.sgi.com/support/free/security/advisories/20060201-01-U","http://marc.info/?l=full-disclosure&m=113404911919629&w=2","http://marc.info/?l=full-disclosure&m=113405896025702&w=2","http://secunia.com/advisories/17934"],"products":["k-meleon_project:k-meleon","mozilla:firefox","mozilla:mozilla_suite","netscape:navigator"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T19:40:09.211843075+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2005-4134","score":0.12589,"percentile":0.96239,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
